Mildryth is ambivalent to say they least. She has realised that a man like Coenred would be highly prized by a great warchief, and who in the kingdom is greater than the King himself. Summoned to his court, Coenred and Mildryth go together to discover what fate awaits them. Mildryth has no doubt that Coenred will be made subject to honours as befits his quality, she can only hope that the noble heart she discovered within his warrior’s breast will hold true to the words he spoke not so long ago.
