I have never been into dinosaurs, so I kind of dismissed this book….mistake! now I have actually read the synopsis, this sounds like my kind of story, (I like time travel. I even have an idea for a time travel story myself, but as you well know, much research is needed…so, maybe, one day…etc etc.) Im sure this story is one I will enjoy. So, its now on my list! I have a tendency to read every book in a series once I discover an author, in your case I seem to be gradually working my way through your books even though they are all different, but I have to say, you have a great imagination!
Susan, the idea of mixing dinosaurs with time travel was suggested to me by a friend. I wrote the book mostly for fun, although I did research the science of time travel to try and come up with a logical system at least. Also, the dinosaurs are represented as animals, not monsters as in Jurassic Park. They are mostly part of the background except where the characters interact with them, either intentionally or not. At its heart the book is another adventure story, although I did imagine what a future civilisation might be like in the wake of ours collapsing. Finally, there are a lot of female characters who are the equal of the males in survival situations. I think that you would enjoy it…obviously!
