I have been absent from writing for a few weeks thanks to being diverted by one of the best holidays that I have ever had. We travelled to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and then onto Egypt; it felt like that we were following in the footsteps of some historical giants. Unfortunately, my wife, Donna, fell ill on our return to England; just a bad cold at first but it developed into a more serious infection. She’s on the mend now, so I am able to return to my study and start writing again.

My first priority is to finish my latest book. It is almost complete and I will write an update on it in the next day or two. We have a lot of photos from our journey back into ancient history and I am going to write two pieces on each part of our experiences. As we have nothing else planned for the next few months I should be able to get down to the task of becoming a successful author once again.
