I have attended a few events now to sell my books in person, but this is going to be my first time at a Comic Convention, or Comic Con as they are now popularly known. This new outing will be at the Hull Comic Con on Sunday 25 August; I am not straying too far afield! To enter into the spirit of the occasion both myself and my wife will be dressed up as Anglo-Saxons, well, as close as we could get to such costumes at short notice and on a budget!

We will have a small table full of my Anglo-Saxon novels and I will have a pen at the ready for anyone who wants me to sign a copy, which has happened plenty of times previously. As I am a bit of a nerd myself, love science fiction and fantasy in most mediums, I am looking forward to the event and, hopefully, I will have some fun photographs to post afterwards.
