I have to admit that I thought taking early retirement would give me more time to do all the things that I want to do but the reality is that so far I have been too busy

Pomerania 11
As I have said previously, the book is not particularly organised, certainly not in comparison to my previous works. I honestly think that this is necessary to the type of novel that I am writing. It is intended to be a whimsical fantasy that is based to a large extent on my life experience
Pomerania 10
Pomerania is going to be a whimsical tale of philosophical fantasy. Although I will examine themes that touch on death, loneliness, bereavement, and exclusion, it will not weigh heavy on the reader
The Sorrow Song Trilogy in One Volume
At what now appears to be regular intervals I go back to my books and read them with a view to improving them. It is self-editing really. I always seem to find something that I am not particularly happy about, be that a typographical error, an example of poor grammar, or the notion that I could have phrased a sentence better. As a writer I believe in continuous improvement for myself and my work
The Queen of the Mountain Kingdom
The main story is simple, the King is dying, and his only heir is the Princess, but women cannot hold authority over men in the Kingdom of Oroson. It is not a clear-cut tale of good versus evil.
Happy Writing: The Curse of Inspiration
When I was trying to relax, a new idea for another story just played out in my mind! I would describe it as something like watching a short clip of an up and coming movie! The imagery was clearly defined, as were the relationships of three characters, the setting that they found themselves in, and, most surprisingly, the landscape of the immediate story itself.
Pomerania 7
There is one key element that I have been seriously considering because it asks some important questions and that is, what is the point of the story and how will it conclude?
Eugenica
My book is written to be provocative and informative, not to mention to give people with disabilities an opportunity to shine in the spotlight, not as pathetic Tiny Tims or twisted King Richards, but as real people who can demonstrate the best of human qualities in the worst of human made situations
The Blade’s Fell Blow
In writing this trilogy of books I learnt a lot about the period and gained a new respect for the Saxons as a people. For some reason they always seem to play second fiddle to the Vikings but in many respects they were at very least the equal to their Norse enemies, if not also the superior of the two

My books cover several genres because I write what is interesting to me. It might be claimed that I am not a commercially successful write as a consequence of that, but I never wanted to be a genre writer. I have written from a very young age, and I have always written to entertain myself first
