Over the least 2 years I have stuck to my argument set out at the beginning of this post.

To Meme, or not to Meme
Freedom of choice is inherent to any society that considers itself to be free. It should not be surrendered so easily...
A Covid-19 Anecdote
Despite being fully vaccinated our son, who lives with us, contracted Covid-19. Despite not being vaccinated neither my wife nor myself contracted the virus throughout our period of isolation. We all took the required lateral-flow tests, which returned a positive for him and two negatives for us. Also, as required here in England, we all … Continue reading A Covid-19 Anecdote
Ruminations
I am not one to do the whole 'New Year' thing. I do not make resolutions just because of a change in the calendar year. Yes, it is a new year, but I do not find anything intrinsically different about it and neither do I have any expectations of it proving to be fundamentally different to what has gone before just because it is 2022 and not 2021.
Covid-19: Something is not adding up!
I feel prompted to write again on this subject following the claim that that there is another variant on the loose, given the name Omicrom, following the apparently silent disappearance of Delta. Us, Them, and Vaccine Passports
It seems that prejudice is latent in the human condition and any excuse will do to exercise it.

This is what I wrote: I have just seen this and cannot believe that anyone would … Continue reading How much freedom are we going to surrender?

COVID-19 – Is it a Deadly Virus
There is a difference between an ‘opinion’ and an ‘informed opinion’, the former is not necessarily supported by any evidence, that latter is. It is not difficult to find examples of ‘opinions’ in social media, there are probably the most common posts made. Reading an opinion that has been informed by the writer looking for … Continue reading COVID-19 – Is it a Deadly Virus
