I decided to start a Facebook group called 'East Riding Authors', which, as the title suggests, is for authors who live and work in the East Riding of Yorkshire, or were born there and now find themselves in another part of the world. The group is not limited to authors only; it is also open to anyone who likes reading books.

Authors…I do not care
I have many interests across many subjects but there is not one where I divorce the idea from the person who created it.
The Dreaded One Star Review AKA Beware what you wish for!

I am happy to be able to write, therefore, about a review that a reader posted with no such encouragement from myself. The book in question is ‘Mesozoic’, my technological thriller … Continue reading The Value of the Review
If Honesty is the Best Policy What About the Stinker?
I like writing reviews. I write them about movies that I have seen, hotels that I have stayed at, restaurants that I have eaten in and books that I have read. Now I studied English Literature at college and as a result I learnt the art of constructive criticism, so when I write a review … Continue reading If Honesty is the Best Policy What About the Stinker?
