The book is developing well, over 22,000 words written so far, but I am working in what I can only call a freeform style. I have a series of ideas that I want to write and a number of themes that I am going to explore, but at the moment there is no real plot.

The Queen of the Mountain Kingdom
The main story is simple, the King is dying, and his only heir is the Princess, but women cannot hold authority over men in the Kingdom of Oroson. It is not a clear-cut tale of good versus evil.
Happy Writing: The Curse of Inspiration
When I was trying to relax, a new idea for another story just played out in my mind! I would describe it as something like watching a short clip of an up and coming movie! The imagery was clearly defined, as were the relationships of three characters, the setting that they found themselves in, and, most surprisingly, the landscape of the immediate story itself.
Pomerania 7
There is one key element that I have been seriously considering because it asks some important questions and that is, what is the point of the story and how will it conclude?
Happy Writing: The Blank Page
All writing begins with a blank page. Actually, for me that is not true. All my writing begins in my head. I have never sat down at a computer screen and stared at a blank Word page waiting for ideas to come
Eugenica
My book is written to be provocative and informative, not to mention to give people with disabilities an opportunity to shine in the spotlight, not as pathetic Tiny Tims or twisted King Richards, but as real people who can demonstrate the best of human qualities in the worst of human made situations
The Blade’s Fell Blow
In writing this trilogy of books I learnt a lot about the period and gained a new respect for the Saxons as a people. For some reason they always seem to play second fiddle to the Vikings but in many respects they were at very least the equal to their Norse enemies, if not also the superior of the two
Pomerania 6
My books cover several genres because I write what is interesting to me. It might be claimed that I am not a commercially successful write as a consequence of that, but I never wanted to be a genre writer. I have written from a very young age, and I have always written to entertain myself first
For Rapture of Ravens
The Battle of Stamford Bridge is more famous than the Battle of Fulford Gate, but it is still overshadowed by the Battle of Hastings, or Sentlache Ridge as the Saxons themselves knew it. I suppose that this is because the victors always get to write the history
Happy Writing: Dialogue
My approach to writing dialogue is very simple; most of it is going to need editing!
