The protagonist, who is called Charlie, meets a widely disparate population of characters in the strange place that he finds himself inhabiting. Each is representative of a theme that I want to explore, not all of them can be Greek. I want the diversity of humanity on display

They can be found in great abundance within the pages of a thesaurus. I have to admit that there was a time when I thought that a thesaurus was a dinosaur that I had yet to read about!

If I were to sum this book up in one sentence, then it would be that that it is about the meaning of life and death, so not a petty subject matter then!
The Back Burner
My new idea gives me the opportunity to write that story without having to labour any of the points. In the same way it will encompass other subjects that interest me regarding the human condition, loneliness, isolation, rejection, futility, love, friendship, and many more. The combination of all these ideas is giving me a sense of literary danger, originality, and total escapism. It has gotten me excited about writing again!
